World War II Experience Day
The sirens are sounding again, you know what to do. It's just a normal weekday evening in London. You have kind of got used to it and you don't feel scared like you used to.
While the Germans are bombing British cities much else is happening. New soldiers need to be recruited and trained ready for the assault. Spies are busy collecting information and sending it over in coded messages, as well as trying to deceive the enemy with falsified messages from the allies. And the everyday people need to keep living their lives as normal to keep production going for food, materials, weapons and tools.
In this experience day, where children get to re-live the nostalgic and frightening era of the second world war, you will learn about:
How the war started
What life was like for civilians
Children's roles
Spies and soldiers
Plus much more!
